PRIVACY POLICY

This page explains what personal information Rembourrage Flyss ("Flyss", "we") collects through flyss.ca, why we collect it, who else may see it and what your rights are. We keep it short on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us at info@flyss.ca.

Who is responsible

The person responsible for the protection of personal information at Flyss is Jeremy Moore, who can be reached at webmaster@flyss.ca.

The quote form

If you use the quote form, we collect the information you type in: your name, your email address, a subject, your message and up to two photos, if you attach them. Only the name and email address are required.

We use this information only to answer your request, prepare a quote and follow up with you. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

When you send the form, the message and the photos are emailed to info@flyss.ca through SMTP2GO, an email delivery service. They are not saved on the web server that hosts flyss.ca. The only copy we keep is in the Flyss mailbox, where it stays for as long as we need it to answer your request and follow up. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

SMTP2GO may process the message outside Québec while delivering it. Its handling of your information is covered by its own privacy policy.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The quote page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated bots. The Turnstile check is loaded from Cloudflare, which may set its own cookies and collect technical data from your browser, such as your IP address. Cloudflare's use of that data is described in its privacy policy.

Google Maps

The contact page shows a Google Maps map. The map is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies and collect technical data, such as your IP address, when the page opens. Google's use of that data is described in its privacy policy.

Gallery and Instagram

The photos in our gallery come from our Instagram account. We copy them to flyss.ca and serve them from there, so your browser does not connect to Instagram when you view the gallery.

Cookies and analytics

flyss.ca does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookies you may encounter come from the Cloudflare and Google services described above.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server automatically records technical information about each visit: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting, and we keep them for a limited time, typically a few weeks to a few months.

Your rights

Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), you can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to see it, to correct it or to delete it. To do so, write to info@flyss.ca. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and its date.
